Transportation in Tabriz

On each journey, it is essential to know about the status of transportation in destination; especially when you travel by plane, train or bus. Now if you aim to travel to Tabriz, you’d better get some information about transportation in Tabriz.

If you want to travel by plane, don’t worry about getting to city center and your residence.  Because the transit buses regularly get the passengers from airport to Tabriz Bazar (Raste Koucheh), and vice versa. The airport taxis always stand in front of internal terminal and are available 24 hours a day.

Taxis are available in railway station and bus terminal. There are also bus station in these two terminals, as a result you can transport to city center by bus and at a lower cost.

In the city of Tabriz, you can access to tourist attractions by Bus rapid transit. All of these buses are equipped with e-ticketing system. You can go to the bus stations to buy or recharge your card.

For transportation inside the city, you can also use taxis. Also if you are interested in biking, the city of Tabriz is the best choice for your travel. You can ride your bike on the path of Qonqa square to Abresan crossroad and alongside the sport activity, you can enjoy the attractions. It should be noted that on this route, there are some conexes to rent bike for sport fans.

I’m Asma Behtash, the chairwoman of the board of Binesh Faragir Ark Safar Company. I have a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management and a Master’s degree in Ecotourism at University of Tabriz. From my early years at the university, I became interested in tourism and decided to work in this topic in addition to studying. So, I began to produce tourism content for the tourism publication of Safarnameh Ark. Also I worked alongside my talented teammates on the Journal of Kuleposhti, the Quarterly of the Geography and Tourism Academic Society at University of Tabriz, as an editor. Since 2014, our business has been launched under the name of Arktourism, a website dedicated to the production of specialized tourism content. I am interested in cultural topics and write about the culture of Tabriz in the Arktourism website. I am fluent in Persian, English and Turkish. Tour guiding and performing events are among my favorite activities. Since 2017, I have also been working on the project of One Minute With Tabriz, a project to produce video content for the beautiful city of Tabriz.
